Sing Glorious Malta!

Sing Glorious Malta!
Central Mediterranean, 15–18 April 2026

Sing Glorious Malta! with us from 15th to 18th April 2026, joining other singers for a wonderfully sociable singing holiday. Our plans to visit Dubrovnik were scuppered , but our partner travel company, Specialised Travel Concert Touring Ltd, has worked hard with us to turn a disappointment into an opportunity. We will now return to the lovely Mediterranean island of Malta which we have not visited since 2010. Full details in this joint announcement.

The repertoire remains as advertised for Dubrovnik: settings of the Gloria by Vivaldi and Jenkins. The former is a staple of the repertoire and has featured in choral concerts for almost 300 years. Karl Jenkins’ work is a more recent, but equally joyful piece, commissioned by The Really Big Chorus in 2010.

Manvinder Rattan will be our conductor for Sing Glorious Malta!, and we will perform with orchestra in the island’s stunning Mdina Cathedral. This offers us plenty of space as well as magnificent architecture and decoration and a very generous acoustic.

The concert will be on Friday 17 April, and we will – of course – build some sight-seeing into the three-day itinerary. Anyone wishing to explore this lovely island for longer can book an additional two-day post-concert extension to 20th April, enabling you to make the most of your journey.

Specialised Travel has now published their full sales information which can be found on our Malta booking page. These details have also been emailed to anyone who has already contacted us in connection with this singing holiday.  If you were expecting these documents and they haven’t arrived, email scratch@stlon.com.
